David Scheirer's portfolio, Studio Tuesday, makes me want to cry a little. I've never been a huge fan of representationalism, except for maybe the Hyper-realism movement, but his realistic watercolors of everyday objects are pretty badass. I like the simplicity, and I like that the images retain a little of their watercolor-ness. The already zen feeling of watercolors is magnified by the mundane subjects and use of negative space. Clearly he's mastered watercolors like no one I've seen in a long time.
